Job description

Due to continued growth, IMED Healthcare is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Technician reporting to the Company Accountant, working along with our Accounts Team and based in our Draperstown Office.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be required to carry out tasks such as:

  1. Reconciliation and processing of purchase invoices to a bespoke accounting software
  2. Filing invoices
  3. Approving and releasing sales orders
  4. Credit control and contacting customers to request payments
  5. Answering customer queries via telephone and email
  6. Monthly bank and credit card statement reconciliations
  7. VAT and Intrastat submission
  8. Processing of weekly and monthly payroll
  9. Monitoring component costs on a regular basis
Essential Skills

The candidate should have:

  1. 5 GCSEs A-C, including English and Maths
  2. Excellent and proficient organisational skills and time management
  3. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Strong IT skills, including use of Microsoft Excel
  6. A working, practical knowledge of accounting software and payroll software
  7. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
