Job Description

Job title: Control Systems Engineer

Location: Leeds - On-site working

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Yoh are currently working with a growing business looking to add an experienced control systems engineer. They are market leaders working to design and manufacture high-performance pumps, valves, and hydraulic systems for demanding and pressurized industries like oil & gas, aerospace, and defense. They are located in Leeds and looking for an engineer to reliably commute for on-site working and collaboration across the engineering department.

Responsibilities:

1. Development of controls solutions for proprietary in-house systems and applications
2. Working on software testing and commissioning

Minimum Requirements:

1. Proven experience in PLC Programming with knowledge & understanding Siemens S7 (TIA Portal) desirable
2. Experience in WinCC and HMI Designs
3. Knowledge of Electrical controls legislation (Regs, LV Directive) is essential
4. Working knowledge and experience of Functional Safety and Safety Programming experience desirable
