Job Description:

Hello, I am a 31-year-old young man with a diagnosis of Congenital Cerebral Palsy and an associated severe learning disability. I have an exciting opportunity for new team members to join my healthcare team. I live on my own with my care team in Prudhoe. If you would like to work in a rewarding role in a friendly and family-oriented employment setting, we would love to hear from you.

Hours available:

I require 1:1 support over a 24-hour period, 7 days per week, and 2:1 support in accessing the community. I am looking for a PA to join my team covering a variety of shifts on a rota, including some days, nights, and weekend shifts. Part-time and full-time roles are available.

Bank Staff:

I am also looking for bank staff who can support me when my regular PAs are on holiday or for sickness.

Training:

If you have caring and compassionate qualities, then you don’t need any previous care experience, as you will learn all your new skills in your new role. You will work under supervision until full healthcare training is complete and competencies are signed off by healthcare professionals. You will start work as soon as we receive your enhanced DBS check (cost to be met by Employer). You will also be required to cover for staff holidays and sickness when needed.
