Job description

Are you an experienced Quality Manager looking for a new challenge in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We are seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to join our team in Halifax, working Monday to Friday on a days shift.

The Role:

As Quality Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving quality standards across the business. You will be responsible for:

  1. Handling customer complaints over the phone, resolving both major and minor quality issues.
  2. Investigating root causes of major quality concerns, such as incorrect product size or colour, and implementing preventative measures.
  3. Addressing minor defects, such as a small number of faulty units within large orders, ensuring realistic quality expectations.
  4. Leading quality compliance efforts, ensuring all processes align with industry standards.
  5. Driving continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actions to enhance production quality.
About You:

Previous experience in a Quality Manager role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Excellent communication skills to manage customer complaints professionally.

Knowledge of quality compliance and continuous improvement methodologies.

Hands-on approach with a proactive mindset.
