The role
We’re looking for a superstar SEO Content Marketing Manager to join our growing group digital marketing team. If you love creating high-quality and engaging content, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Leading on web content optimisation, ensuring all digital assets adhere to SEO best practices and contribute to organic search growth.
Delivering keyword research strategies and SEO analysis to inform content plans that resonate with target audiences, analyse trends, and identify opportunities for content optimization.
Create quality, engaging, and relevant content for our group website including blog posts, articles, guides and more.
Create and implement on-page SEO strategies in our CMS in line with company goals to improve website conversion and user experience.
Help us understand how SEO impacts AI search results and optimise AI brand recommendations.
This would include:
Keep updated with search engine algorithms, industry trends, and best practices, and implement necessary updates.
Monitor and analyse content performance using relevant tools and metrics.
Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies for growth optimisation.
Working with the Digital Marketing Manager to improve UX and CRO and with our agency partners to ensure on-time delivery of agreed work.
Working with the wider digital team to help devise content to be used across various digital channels (social media and email).
Analyse competitor on-page and off-page SEO activities
Maintain and reinforce messaging, brand voice, and tone.
Work with external agencies and advise for SEO on external content.
Advise our regional Marketing Managers on SEO strategy.
Experience required
Proven experience in SEO, demonstrable use of SEO best practice and content optimisation. Familiarity with SEO tools and keyword research.
Experience in content marketing, with a strong copywriting portfolio.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with an ability to adapt content to different styles and tones.
Proficiency in using Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems and related tools (Google Analytics).
Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive action.
BGIT is based in Send (near Woking), there are limited public transport links - access to a car is essential.
