Our client is a forward-thinking, rapidly growing, and successful family of care companies delivering domiciliary care and extra care. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate Health & Social Care Trainer to join their team.

As a Health & Social Care Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to their existing staff and new starters, ensuring that they have the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to provide the best possible care to their clients.

Ideal Candidate

1. Teaching & Education qualification i.e. Level 3 AET, PTTLS, CTLLS
2. A background in care
3. Experience maintaining effective recording systems
4. Basic Life Support TTT (Adults and Paediatrics)
5. Moving & Handling Train the Trainer
6. Full UK driving license, use of a vehicle, and not averse to extensive travel as you will be expected to cover the whole business
7. A genuine passion for supporting learners and understanding the importance of delivering the Health and Social Care programmes that meet CQC requirements and expectations

Responsibilities

1. Design and deliver engaging training programs on a variety of health and social care topics, including infection prevention and control, safe handling of medication, manual handling, and emergency first aid
2. Assess the training needs of their staff and develop customized training programs to meet their specific needs
3. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed
4. Keep up to date with the latest developments in health and social care, including relevant regulations and best practices
5. Maintain accurate records of training delivery and assessment results
6. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for all staff
7. Delivering Care Worker Training (Mandatory requirements, Induction and CPD)
8. Booking of training courses
9. Assisting with apprenticeships
10. Accessing and marking care certificates
11. Working alongside branch and regional teams to support bespoke training needs
