Receptionist

The Great North Hotel is currently recruiting for a front of house team member to join the group. This is a great opportunity to join the organisation at an exciting time!

This role will involve providing an exceptional level of guest care, complying with all reception and reservation standards and maximising all sales opportunities for the venue.

Other Responsibilities Will Include

1. Performing all reception and reservation duties to the required Company standard.
2. Delivering exceptional service and guest satisfaction, handling guest feedback professionally and within Company standards.
3. Complying with Company audit and accounting requirements.
4. Reporting any maintenance problems, and ensuring they are rectified, specifically in relation to the comfort of guests and issues of Health and Safety.
5. Promoting a helpful and professional image within the department, ensuring full co-operation is given to colleagues in other departments.
6. Ensuring security of keys and cash at all times.
7. To be involved in any sales and marketing initiatives, including social media.
8. Assisting in events/conferences within the hotel.
