Management Accountant

Location: Knaresborough, North Yorkshire

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE

Benefits: Company pension, life assurance, private medical insurance, flexible working, annual bonus and 25 days annual leave plus stats.

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week.

Our client is going through a period of rapid growth and as such are looking for an additional team member in their finance team. You will be based at the company's head office in Knaresborough with occasional flexibility to work from home. The company has offices in London and the North East with development teams operating globally.

Management Accountant Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and review management information.
2. Responsible for month end accounting including posting journals, P&L and balance sheet reconciliations.
3. Assisting with preparation of cashflow forecasts and budgets.
4. Monthly reporting on project development and capex for internal and external reporting.
5. Prepare and review VAT returns and compliance.
6. Identifying and delivering process improvements and introductions of control where necessary.
7. Providing support to tax advisers for corporation tax returns.
8. Preparation of statutory accounts.
9. Managing and supporting audit processes for group companies.

Requirements:

1. ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified.
2. Previous experience as an accountant.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
5. Able to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
6. Well organised.
