Technical Assistant

Our client is a rapidly growing company in the food and drink industry, recognized for their commitment to quality and innovation. As part of their ambitious expansion plans, they are looking for a passionate and dedicated Technical Assistant to join the team. Key Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Management: Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, managing queries and ensuring clear communication.
2. Customer Support: Address and resolve any technical queries or concerns from customers, maintaining high standards of service.
3. Specification Management: Ensure all product specifications within the assigned category are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory standards.
4. Team Support: Assist the Technical Manager and broader technical team with tasks and projects as required.
5. Audit Participation: Be present and actively involved during internal and external audits, contributing to the preparation and follow-up actions.
6. Customer Relationships: Maintain and nurture strong, professional relationships with customers, building trust and rapport.

Key Requirements:

1. Experience: Previous experience in a technical role within the food and drink industry is essential.
2. Education: A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
3. Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively manage supplier and customer relationships.
4. High level of organization and attention to detail, particularly in specification management.
5. Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn and grow within the food industry.
6. Passion: A genuine interest and passion for the food and drink sector, with a commitment to excellence.

Salary: £25,000-£30,000 (Dependent on Experience)
