Job description

In this role, you will be working in close collaboration with MBDA/ISS stakeholders to develop and manage HSEQ plans to drive continuous improvement and a culture of shared ownership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development and proactive management of an account specific HSEQ plan to drive continuous improvement
  • Support, coach and mentor the account operational teams to enhance HSEQ focus and drive shared ownership
  • Ensure adherence to the ISS UK Integrated Management System and client specific processes
  • Embed ISS HSEQ programmes such as Near Hits, Safety Leaders, and Safe Behaviours
  • Collaborate with senior HSEQ management on the development of AssessNet and similar systems
  • Closely support local ISS management with incident investigations to identify root causes and associated actions
  • Drive environmental compliance including Aspects & Impacts process
  • Control of Contractors – responsibility for developing the process, account wide training and governance to ensure the process is adhered to and opportunities for improvement are identified/escalated

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar HSEQ role with knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental processes and legislation
  • Experience of operating as a HSEQ Consultant within Facilities Management
  • Ability to develop robust relationships to drive positive change
  • Experience and knowledge of Quality Standard ISO 9001, 14001, 45001
  • Relevant quality related qualifications i.e. Internal Auditor
  • Strong communicator, with an ability to inspire confidence
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and reactive environment
  • Understands the relationship between operational success and compliance
