Job Description

Civil Engineering main contractor with long-term project work just South of Exeter, Devon, require a Site Manager/Project Manager to oversee the Civil Engineering works. Duties will include looking after the works, working with the site team, and reporting to the Senior Managers on progress, activity, budget, and safety. You will be the main representative on site responsible for communicating effectively with multiple stakeholders, managing 2-week lookaheads, documentation - RAMS, Quality, and overseeing the resolution to any technical difficulties as they arise.

The selected candidate will ideally have a minimum HNC, plus SMSTS or equivalent and CSCS, and be able to demonstrate good knowledge and experience working with main contractors on projects where R.C., piling, earthworks, Temporary Works, etc. are prevalent. Any experience working with water-related Civil Engineering works will be looked at especially favorably.

The assignment will continue for around 8 months with the prospect of further work beyond that if candidates prove suitable. Day rate will be competitive and in line with experience.
