An established industry player is seeking a passionate Tutor for English and Maths to support Year 9 and Year 10 students in Sheffield. This role involves delivering engaging tutoring sessions tailored to individual learning needs, helping students build confidence and improve their understanding of key subjects. Job Title: Tutor – English and Maths
Location: Sheffield (S9)
Salary: £45 per hour
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: 2 hours per day, Monday – Thursday

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Are you an experienced tutor or educator passionate about helping students bridge learning gaps?

GSL Education seeks an engaging Tutor to support small groups of Year 9 and Year 10 students in English and Maths catch-up sessions.

Key Responsibilities of the Tutor – English and Maths:

Deliver focused tutoring sessions to small groups (2-3 students) in English and Maths.
Provide personalised support to help students improve their understanding and confidence.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of learners.
Track student progress and provide feedback to school staff.
Create an encouraging and structured learning environment.

Requirements:

Strong subject knowledge in English and Maths.
Previous experience as a tutor, teacher, or teaching assistant is preferred.
A passion for education and the ability to engage and motivate students.
Excellent communication and adaptability skills.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
