Financial Accountant Hotel Financial Controller - West Sussex region

Job Description

We are presently working with this client recruiting for a Hotel Financial Controller to join their team.

The hotel is part of an international group and boasts the following facilities: 150+ bedrooms, large F&B with 10 meeting rooms (the largest with a capacity of 250 guests), as well as various other boardrooms catering for both large and smaller meetings.

The hotel restaurant has 120 covers and serves modern British food, along with a main hotel bar and lounge area.

Additionally, the hotel features a full leisure and spa area, as well as an outdoor activities area for team building.

The role requires an individual with experience managing the finances of a hotel, ensuring a full understanding of how finances work effectively within a large hotel. Ideally, candidates should be fully qualified or QBE, and will work with the General Manager and Head Office function to achieve sales and revenue targets while controlling costs within the agreed hotel budget.

You will also manage a small team, overseeing their day-to-day duties.

This is a key role, and the team is currently undergoing some transition, making it a great time to start with a new team and develop in your role.

Salary: £42k, benefits, bonus, and career development opportunities.
