A highly regarded secondary school in Sutton is seeking a passionate and creative Biology Teacher to join its creative and popular Science Department. Biology Teacher | The Role:
- Deliver inspiring and engaging Biology lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, helping students develop a deep understanding and appreciation of the subject.
- Use creative and innovative teaching methods to engage students and encourage a love of learning.
- Collaborate with the Science Department to ensure the curriculum is delivered effectively and enriches students’ learning experience.
- Take on additional responsibilities, such as curriculum planning or mentoring, with the potential for TLR opportunities for those with the relevant experience.
Biology Teacher | The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching that results in excellent student outcomes.
- A degree in Biology or a related subject (2:1 or higher preferred).
- A passion for Biology and the ability to inspire students to excel in critical thinking.
- Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Experience or a desire to take on additional responsibilities, with leadership potential.
- A collaborative approach to working with colleagues and a drive to contribute to the overall success of the department.
