Trainee Youth Voice Worker x2 – NEYA

NORTH EAST YOUTH ALLIANCE ARE RECRUITING

One post will be hosted by NE Youth in Blaydon, and the other post will be hosted by Youth Focus North East in either Gateshead or Middlesbrough (depending on the candidate’s location).

Aim of the Post
These exciting posts will support existing youth voice projects and play a pivotal role in developing new initiatives across the region. The successful candidates will have a passion for working with Young People and supporting them to have their voice heard on key issues that matter to them.

Responsible To
Youth Voice Leads at NE Youth and Youth Focus North East.

Conditions of Service
The posts are 30 hours per week. Flexible working will be necessary (including evenings and weekends) to cover the range of duties required fully and effectively. Holiday entitlement will be 28 days (pro-rata) plus statutory bank holidays. Fixed term until end April 2027.

Salary
Real living wage (£12.60 per hour)

Age
16 – 25 years (Genuine Occupational Requirement)
