We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Supervisor to join our Eden Farm Peterlee Depot. Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the smooth-running of the transport department.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 42 hours per week. Starting time between 4am and 5am.

• Ensure that all outbound vehicle deliveries are loaded correctly as per load manifest and safely in accordance with DVSA regulations.
• Vehicle maintenance and upkeep of fleet.
• Occasional Paragon planning and replanning duties.
• Supervision of driving staff as first point of contact (Night shift) and offer instruction as required.
• Operational tasks as instructed by the site Transport Manager.
• Pre-brief of day shift drivers (4/5am).
• Coordinate and utilize trunking operations.
• General admin duties such as holiday planning, driver hours (Tachomaster), and holiday/sickness administration.

• Provide a start of day brief to driving staff and act as the first point of contact.
• Liaise with the Company's operation support team to ensure the efficient planning of customer deliveries and utilization of delivery vehicles and drivers (replanning).
• Communicate and work with the central team providing feedback to improve route planning and efficient operations.
• Inspect, identify, and report vehicle defects to ensure staff welfare and compliance with health & safety requirements.
• Vehicle maintenance administration.
• Agency driver checks and inductions.

• Tachomaster administration.
• Ensure all trunks leave OTIF.
• Telematics and CCTV management.
• Breakdown coordinator for nights.
• Liaise with warehouse teams to address any potential loading issues.
• Trailer utilization for trunking vehicles.

• You will be up to date with the latest transport legislation (Drivers Hours, Tachomaster, VOSA FTA knowledge) and possess exceptional communication skills.
