Skiddle was born in 2001 as a what's on guide and began selling tickets in 2006 and is now one of the UK's most loved ticketing services selling tickets for tens of thousands of events throughout the UK, from independent club nights through to 60,000 capacity festivals. Skiddle currently sells tickets for the likes of The Warehouse Project, Creamfields, Digbeth Dining Club and Live Nation, and hundreds of independent venues and promoters across the country. Likewise, we host the largest festival guide in Europe.

Role Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic Paid Media Exec to support our Senior Paid Media Exec with the management and implementation of ads across Facebook, Google Ads and other platforms. You’ll be working closely with our account management team and promoters to lead on the strategy and campaigns for a variety of exciting events, including festivals, club nights, food and drink, family events and theatre.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing paid strategies for a variety of different events and deliver/present these to our account management team and/or promoters
  • Leading on the planning, set-up and management of paid media campaigns
  • Confidently creating reports and evaluating data in different dashboards and taking the initiative on making decisions based on the performance of ads
  • Measuring and optimising our paid marketing campaigns using data in Ads Manager, Google Analytics and other dashboards
  • Researching and testing partnerships with new platforms to expand our reach and/or lower cost-per-acquisition
  • Problem solving and taking ownership of technical issues that occur in ad accounts
  • Client Management
  • Collaborating with marketing teammates to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all paid programs
  • Staying up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep us ahead, including updates to social media marketing, attribution, and programmatic media buying

Person Specification:

Our ideal candidate for this role will have a can-do attitude, is extremely organised and possesses a high level of communication both internally and externally with a desire to achieve, no matter how challenging the request.

You should;

  • Be an analytical and strategic thinker
  • Have experience working with digital advertising platforms like Facebook, Google and Tiktok.
  • Consult with our clients on the creation of content for ads
  • Have an interest in live events and music
  • Be able to communicate effectively and work positively with various teams across different offices, both in person and remotely
  • Previous working experience in Paid Media with Google Ads and Facebook as a minimum
  • A proven track record of successful marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search, retargeting and social network advertising (Facebook, Tiktok).
  • Hands-on experience in handling marketing budgets and forecasting/reporting results
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and management skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strategic thinker with great analytical skills
