An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced emergency planner to join the growing emergency planning team at the Royal Free London Group. The successful candidate will work in the Emergency Planning Team within the Chief Delivery Officer's corporate team. The emergency planning team is responsible for the provision of professional and expert advice, guidance, information, training and support to Trust staff on all matters relating to the Emergency, Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) function. This includes business continuity and major incident planning.

The postholder will work within the Emergency Planning team to deliver and maintain an effective EPRR service and support the implementation of EPRR plans and the enhancement of resilience and Business Continuity Management (BCM) across the Trust. This will include ensuring that up to date plans are in place to comply with legislation and guidance, including meeting the requirements of the Civil Contingencies Act (2004) and NHS England EPRR Core Standards.
The postholder will work as part of a team and autonomously towards defined goals, they will be an expert for all EPRR matters within the Trust and act as a source of information and guidance. The postholder will contribute fully to the quality improvement of the service and to the development of EPRR best practice within the Trust.
The postholder will be responsible for developing and implementing EPRR training and exercising activity to ensure and maintain staff and patient safety and well-being.
