Job Title: Information Security Consultant

Role:

Are you an experienced Cyber Security Consultant with a passion for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders? Do you have experience working within Consultancy, Defence, Public Sector, or Operational Technology (OT) environments? If you thrive in a role where you can influence senior-level security strategies and deliver impactful presentations, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with senior technical and non-technical stakeholders to assess and enhance their cybersecurity posture.
  • Deliver presentations to clients, clearly articulating cyber risks and security improvements.
  • Develop and continually enhance a customer-facing cybersecurity framework aligned with Secure by Design and Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) principles.
  • Ensure and assure that customer deployments comply with cybersecurity frameworks, industry regulations, and any required security accreditations such as GDPR, ISO27001, and Cyber Essentials Plus.
  • Provide expert consultancy services across multiple industries, including Defence, Public Sector, Enterprise, and OT environments.
  • Work as a core pre-sales member for strategic bids, ensuring cyber-security requirements are fully understood and addressed.
  • Lead customer-facing cybersecurity audit and assurance exercises, particularly in IT and OT environments.
  • Support business development by identifying opportunities and selling cybersecurity solutions back to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of security solutions.

Skills/Must Have:

  • Proven experience in Cyber Security Consultancy.
  • Background in Defence, Public Sector or OT environments.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies, particularly in OT environments.
  • Experience applying Secure by Design and Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) principles.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • CISSP, CISM, NCSC CCP, or CCISO certification (Highly Desirable).

Additional Information:

  • Up to £100k per annum.
  • 25 days holiday.
  • Remote working (UK-wide) with travel to customer sites as required.
