Sphere Solutions are seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a large-scale residential development in Swindon. This is a long-term opportunity to work on a major scheme, focusing on plot setting out and 278 works.
- Set out plots and infrastructure works, including 278 works.
- Ensure accurate setting out using relevant instruments.
- Work closely with site management, subcontractors, and design teams.
- Provide clear and accurate reports on progress.
- Assist in maintaining site records and quality assurance.
- Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer in the residential sector.
- Strong knowledge of 278 works and plot setting out.
- CSCS Card - essential.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Own setting out equipment is preferred but not essential (rates will reflect this).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Long-term role on a major residential scheme.
- Competitive rates based on experience and equipment availability.
