Electrical Design Engineer – Rail

Redfish are partnering with a leading Electrical Services Provider who are designing and installing systems on behalf of London Underground / Transport for London.

Due to an increase in project scope they require an Electrical Design Engineer for LV power & lighting designs.

Responsibilities

• Will be responsible for producing high quality design packs consisting of but not limited to drawings, calculations, schedules, and specifications.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D, Trimble ProDesign (Amtech), Dialux, and MS Office required.
• Good communication skills, willing to take on responsibility, willing to liaise with external parties, willing to fully integrate into the team.
• Strong knowledge of British design standards.
• Experience on TfL (specifically London Underground) projects and knowledge of TfL Cat 1 standards is a must.
• 3 days in office, 2 days WFH.
