As a Bus Driver with Arriva, you’ll be at the heart of connecting communities, helping commuters reach their destinations safely and reliably each day. Join a team that’s supportive, dedicated, and driven by a shared passion to make a difference.
*If you are a PCV holder with less than 12 months experience within the last 4 years, you will also start on TIER 1.
*If you are a PCV holder with more than 12 months experience within the last 4 years, you will start on TIER 2.
£13.15 per hour or £499.70 (before deductions) per week during your training. The training is run from our Training Centre based in Wood Green and is intensive, involving passing your theory and practical tests as well as your CPC qualification, which enables you to drive a bus. The training takes approx. 3 weeks to complete, including 7 days on the road bus driving, and there is a lot of reading and studying involved.
*When you have passed training and start at garage, you will then go on TIER 1.
