As the Data Governance Manager, you will be at the forefront of improving data quality, mitigating risks, and supporting the technical teams in abiding by industry regulations. This position will play a key part in the overall data strategy and ensuring the business hits its objectives through effective data management.

Key Responsibilities as Data Governance Manager:

• Support the rollout of a comprehensive data governance framework, including policies, standards, and procedures.
• Develop and refine data policies, standards, and procedures to align with business and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data stewardship and data management best practices.
• Define and monitor data quality metrics and KPIs.
• Partner with wider IT and Tech teams to ensure data governance tools and technologies are fit for purpose.
• Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal policies.
• Provide training and support to data stewards and other stakeholders to promote data governance awareness and adherence.

Qualifications as Data Governance Manager:

• Proven experience in data governance, data management, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of data protection regulations such as GDPR.
• Experience with data governance tools and technologies.
• Experience with stakeholder management within a complex organisation.
