An established industry player is seeking qualified solicitors or barristers to join their National Police team. This advocacy-based role involves regular court attendance, managing a high caseload of civil protective orders, and interacting with various stakeholders. The Regulatory Department is one of the largest in the country and is recognised by clients and other lawyers as being one of the best. We advise clients across all sectors including health, public sector, corporations and individuals.
This is predominantly an advocacy based role and regular (sometimes daily) attendance at court hearings is required. Our busy courts are in Sussex, Guildford, Essex, Ipswich and Staines but other courts also require us to attend hearings. You must be willing and able to travel to these courts for 9.30am attendance.
We are currently recruiting for solicitor advocates or barristers to join our National Police team. In particular, we are looking for lawyers to advise, prepare and present civil protective orders in the Magistrates’ Court including Domestic Violence Protection Orders, Stalking Protection Orders, Sexual Harm Prevention Orders, Sexual Risk Orders, Anti-Social Behaviour injunctions and closure orders.
