Salary: £26,508 to £28,327 depending on experience
Location: Peterborough and Cambridgeshire area with some remote working available
Hours: The role is full time – 37 hours per week (part time hours can be considered 22.5 hrs a week up to 30 hrs)
Groundwork has a range of exciting opportunities and we are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for engaging communities, supporting people to learn and improving the environment to help drive our programmes forward.
We are recruiting for a project officer role in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to join our Communities team. The successful candidate will help us deliver an exciting and wide range of practical training and skills programmes alongside community and education projects across the county.
You will have the ability to recruit, engage with and train a range of volunteers and will be responsible for overseeing the practical landscaping work and the delivery and assessment of Level 1 City & Guilds qualifications. You will also deliver a wider range of community and education focused environmental projects alongside the wider team.
You will require strong communication and organizing skills and will be leading practical tasks. You will be working with different community groups, particularly vulnerable people, as well as coordinating with local partner organisations.
