Delivery Driver

Location: North East England

Salary: £25,584 - £26,409 per annum

The Role

The Council are seeking to recruit Delivery Drivers with Class 2/category C entitlement for their Newcastle Furniture Service, delivering, installing, and collecting furniture.

They deliver and install furniture items to houses across the UK, predominantly in the Northeast, however they are growing and have new contracts covering the 4 corners of the UK.

Their success means they are looking for Delivery Drivers to help them deliver, install, and collect furniture to all areas of the UK. The role may involve staying away from home overnight on occasions.

This role is contracted to 37 hours per week but different to other driving jobs, you will work Monday to Friday.

Skills and Qualifications

To apply you must possess:

• A category C license (There may be the opportunity for you to undertake training to C+E category. All training is fully funded by the council)
• A valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph Card.
