Executive Assistant to the Chair

Location: London, Westend

Contract: Full-time, Hybrid

Salary: Up to £70,000

We are recruiting on behalf of a major UK financial institution for a highly experienced Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to the Chair of the Board. This is a pivotal, fast-paced role that requires exceptional discretion, professionalism, and the ability to anticipate and manage a wide range of responsibilities.

What you will do:

  1. Act as the first point of contact for the Chair, managing a busy and complex diary.
  2. Coordinate all travel and logistics.
  3. Act as a liaison between the Chair and senior internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Provide in-depth support across both professional and personal affairs.
  5. Ensure meetings and engagements are prioritised appropriately.
  6. Communicate with clarity and diplomacy on behalf of the Chair when required.

What You'll Bring:

This position demands someone with a proven track record supporting board-level executives in a FTSE 100/250 environment or equivalent, who is comfortable operating with the utmost confidentiality. You'll be adaptable, quick to respond, able to work with minimal direction, and confident engaging with stakeholders at the highest level.
