EA / Business Assistant, Venture Capital, City

£70,000 - £75,000 + bonus + benefits

Are you an exceptional, business-minded Executive Assistant looking to work in a high-energy and growing, entrepreneurial Venture Capital firm?

Are you dynamic, energetic and ambitious? And do you have the credibility to deal with executives across the business as well as high-profile clients?

Are you also approachable, able to gain instant trust and provide true right-hand support?

Our client is looking for an exceptional EA to commit themselves fully to a role supporting a hugely likeable and hugely busy boss!

For the right person, there is so much to learn. You will need experience supporting executives in a fast-paced environment, but really it is all about the attitude and approach that will ensure your success in this role.

What you’ll be doing day to day:

  • Full inbox management including drafting emails and formal correspondence
  • Full calendar management - scheduling meetings and ensuring perfect coordination
  • and diary alignment amongst partners and their EAs.
  • Proof-reading sensitive and technical documentation
  • Acting as the main point of contact on behalf of the Partner; liaising with other Partners, clients and investors
  • Managing data & documents as a key support to the business
  • Taking responsibility of operations-related projects from inception to completion
  • Expense & Credit Card management
  • Travel management - end-to-end travel arranging with awareness of time zones
  • Taking initiative regarding internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports.
  • Elements of office-management contributing to a positive working environment

The skills you need to bring:

  • Experience providing support to executives in a fast-paced environment
  • Business mind and strong academic record
  • Understanding of complex schedules over different time zones
  • Organised self-starter with excellent time management skills
  • Confidence to introduce own processes
  • Assertive and confident decision maker
  • Excellent MS office skills
  • A positive mindset and friendly manner
  • Ability to engage easily at all levels
  • Interest in growing and learning at all times
