We are seeking a Data Analyst to join Walkers London office. In this pivotal role, you will be working as part of a dynamic team who implemented the roll out of the firm's Global HR system, which has become an invaluable tool for the global business.

As a HR Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the HR strategy by developing analysis to encourage data-driven decision-making. Providing valuable insights to the Human Resources (HR) function, the primary focus will be on analysing and interpreting HR data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving HR processes and initiatives. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to translate complex HR data into meaningful and insightful reports and presentations.

This is an exciting opportunity to use continuous improvement and process optimisation skills and industry knowledge to deliver business value by identifying opportunities for improved analysis leading to efficiencies and improved service delivery to our people.

The role will help ensure the HR strategy is adequately supported by maximising the data held within the various HR systems. Working with key stakeholders across the business to ensure the right data is available at the right times.

Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification

  • Collect and analyse HR data from various sources, including HRIS, employee surveys, performance evaluations, and other relevant systems.
  • Understand and validate HR data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and data integrity.
  • Use data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and insights related to HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate HR data and insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop customized reports and analytics to meet their needs.
  • Provide HR data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and drive HR initiatives.
  • Monitor HR data to identify data anomalies, outliers, and data quality issues, and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Stay updated with HR trends, industry benchmarks, and best practices to enhance HR data analysis capabilities.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives related to data analytics, including HR system implementations, process improvements, and automation.
  • Maintain data privacy and confidentiality standards in handling sensitive HR data.
  • Support HR data requirements for regulatory reporting, audits, and compliance purposes.
  • Provide training and guidance to HR team members on data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in HR data analysis.

Education, Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone with relevant experience of:

  • HR processes
  • HR data analysis

Technical / Professional Experience

  • SAP SuccessFactors or similar HRIS
  • Proficiency in using data analysis tools such as Excel, Business Objects, Power BI, or similar platforms to create dashboards and reports.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with technical and non-technical teams to translate needs into solutions.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and their data structures, including data extraction and manipulation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling and analyzing HR data.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Legal Sector experience.
