Finance Director – World-Class Private Members’ Club

Finance Director – Prestigious Private Members’ Club

Are you a strategic finance leader looking to shape the future of a world-class organisation?

We are working with a private members’ club, home to two stunning clubhouses, who are seeking an exceptional Finance Director to drive its financial strategy and long-term success.

This is a unique opportunity to work alongside the CEO and the senior stakeholders in a business with a strong rich heritage and a commitment to excellence, to ensure financial sustainability and provide innovation while upholding the club’s distinguished reputation.

The Role

As Finance Director, you will lead all their financial operations, reviewing efficiency and with your expertise you will be key in shaping their financial strategy, driving their new projects and transformations programmes along with delivering value for members and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the finance teams workload and overseeing the company’s financial operations.
  2. Provide financial reporting, and deliver updates on payroll, debt collection and insurance issues.
  3. Update the cashflow and lead on budgeting, and forecasting for each section of the business.
  4. Provide financial leadership on major capital projects, ensuring sound project cash flow and budget capex controls are in place.
  5. Manage Treasury functions in line with company policies.
  6. Advise committees on financial strategy and decision-making.
  7. Drive innovation through financial system development.

Your key skills required will include

  1. ACA (preferred), ACCA, or CIMA accounting qualification.
  2. Proven experience in a complex hospitality or member driven business.
  3. Strong working knowledge capable of developing financial strategy and overseeing financial controls.
  4. Demonstrable leadership skills with clear communication and problem-solving abilities.
