Job Description: The Administrative Assistant for Interprofessional Education (IPE), Simulation and Accreditation at Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM), Harrogate supports the Senior Associate Dean of IPE, Simulation and Accreditation with a broad range of administrative duties for all aspects of Center operations.

  1. Associates degree or specific certifications relating to position.

Responsibilities:

  1. Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students, and the community at large.
  2. Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff, and students.
  3. Provide office support as required.
  4. Maintain calendars and schedule meetings as requested.
  5. Schedule appointments as necessary.
  6. Operate office machines, including calculator, copy machine, and computer.
  7. Greet visitors, vendors, staff, and others in a professional and courteous manner.
  8. Take and distribute phone messages as appropriate.
  9. Collect and prepare outgoing mail.
  10. Assist with mailings, distributions, and special projects.
  11. Assist other administrative staff with overflow work and phone coverage.
  12. Assist simulation and training activities as needed.
  13. Assist the Dean's office as needed.
  14. Monitor the Departmental Budget.
  15. Purchase supplies for IPE, SIM Lab, and SP Program.
  16. Take minutes for Committee and Departmental meetings.
  17. Purchase and set up food for meetings.
  18. Coordinate with Housekeeping, Security, and Maintenance for special events.
  19. Assist with special events.
  20. Support required professional and institutional program accreditation, and other reports necessary for the advancement of University programs, both on campus and at extended campus sites.
  21. Support strategic planning efforts in DCOM.
  22. Perform other duties as assigned.
