We are seeking a Senior Lawyer (5+ PQE) to join our prestigious Energy, Projects, Infrastructure, and Construction (EPIC) team. If you are a real estate/commercial property lawyer with a passion for clean and renewable energy, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Our national practice is on an upward trajectory, focusing on high-impact projects of national importance. We are flexible with the location, allowing this role to be based at any of our office locations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to take on a leadership role in the commercial property sector, with a focus on clean and renewable energy.
You should have significant experience in commercial property, ideally from a large regional or national practice, with a focus on leading energy and infrastructure projects. This includes expertise in options, leases, and renewable energy development. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, capable of inspiring others, and committed to sharing knowledge and building capacity within the team.
In your current role, you should enjoy engaging with clients and developing relationships as a trusted business adviser. You will understand the commercial context and nuances that influence the sector. In return, we will support your professional growth, providing the resources and encouragement needed to enhance your skills and practice. We will work with you to set realistic and achievable goals to help you reach your career aspirations.
In return for your efforts, you can expect considerable scope for personal, as well as professional, development. We encourage people to engage with our popular and well-supported coaching and mentoring programmes, which connect you to people right across the firm and at every level. We create space for mental and physical wellbeing with our weekly Lifestyle Hour, along with 28 days’ annual leave (plus a day in your birthday month), private medical insurance (eligibility applies), and a sabbatical you can take every 5 years.
You can also buy holiday, managing your benefits flexibly using our sophisticated portal to configure your total reward offer according to what you value most. As part of this, you can make ongoing or one-off donations to our charitable foundation and access our CSR programme where you can engage with community-based initiatives (as a team or individually) twice a year, to give something back where you feel it matters.
