General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist

We have an excellent permanent job opportunity for a General Adult Consultant working for a private service based in the South East of England. This is a full-time role, covering 15 male patients.

Salary: £154,000 per annum + £8.4k car allowance

Position: General Adult Consultant

Hours: Full time

Setting: 15 male patients

Location: Surrey

Responsibilities:

1. Review referrals and determine appropriateness for admission
2. Conduct admission assessment and ensure effective management plans of all young people on the unit
3. Conduct risk assessment and review regularly
4. Allocate specialist psychological treatments in line with individual needs
5. Assess physical health
6. Ensure effective liaison with referring teams
7. Facilitate regular CPA review meetings
8. Act as Responsible Clinician for young people detained under the Mental Health Act

Requirements:

1. Registered on the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a licence to practice
2. Experience of CAMHS eating disorders desirable
