Job description

As we continue to grow, we are now seeking to strengthen our Construction team with an Assistant Driller at our Motherwell site. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Working on wind farm and infrastructure sites to support the lead driller in all drilling, logistics and maintenance activities as required
  • Open participation in safety culture and contribution to team discussions
  • All drilling operations in assistance of the lead driller
  • Perform associated tasks such as installing pipework, general ground works, reinstatement, general labour, materials delivery etc.
  • Routine plant / vehicle maintenance
  • Professional team and client interaction
  • Attend regular meetings with Projects teams on site and at our yard / offices if necessary
  • Water well installation and general labour
  • Plant logistics, routine maintenance, and general good housekeeping at the yard
  • Supporting project teams with other ad hoc site works as and when required
  • Due to the wide geographical spread of our sites this will involve travel and working away from home

This is a permanent, full-time role, working 50 hours per week on a rota basis.
