Package: Salary £35k-£39,800k, Overtime (Time & a Half weekdays, Double time on a Sunday). Working Hours: 16:00 – 2:00am Mon – Fri. Company Bonus, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, Pension.

The Role of the Plant Night Shift Operative:

As the Night Shift Operative, you’ll be working as part of a team in the processing of sand and gravel. You’ll support the Wharf Manager with ensuring Health and Safety is prioritized while ensuring production targets are met. Key tasks will include assisting with the discharge of ships' cargoes, ensuring general maintenance and housekeeping of the plant, and complying with all Company Health, Safety & Environmental systems and reporting procedures. Initial training will be provided for 2-3 months on a day shift. This role is based at the company's Greenwich site.

The Ideal Person for the Plant Night Shift Operative:

• Experience using a loading shovel
• Preferably experience in a similar production or processing environment (e.g., Quarry, Asphalt, Concrete, aggregates)
• Keen to learn and develop in the role
• Good understanding of industry Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
• Good communication skills and teamwork required
• Ability to work within an extremely busy team environment
• Fitting skills / Mechanical experience would be an advantage
• Flexible with regards to working hours, reliable, and enthusiastic
• Wants a permanently employed role with future career prospects
• Must have a full driving license
