A highly organised and motivated Export Coordinator is required for our market leading, award winning engineering client based in the Aylesbury region commutable from Oxford. This Export Coordinator role would suit an enthusiastic supply chain professional with good export import knowledge, experience and qualifications of export import and ideally dangerous goods customs knowledge. Working within the small procurement team, this is an excellent career opportunity for a procurement professional to develop their export management career further in this exciting, varied, fast paced role.

The ideal Export Coordinator candidate will have the following key skills and experiences:

1. Export import experience - Good proven experience and knowledge of import/export processes within engineering, manufacturing or technical industry.
2. Export Import qualifications - certifications, customs export qualifications, etc.
3. DGA and dangerous goods transportation experience is highly desirable.
4. Experience in a similar role e.g., Export Manager, Export Import Coordinator, Import Export compliance, any role with export import responsibilities.
5. Experience of end-to-end supply chain management – full life cycle procurement.

Some key responsibilities of this procurement role are:

1. Be responsible for expediting shipments - worldwide imports, exports, freight forwarders for timely delivery and collection.
2. Be responsible for import clearance control for all non-EU imports.
3. Raising import clearance documents and communicating with freight forwarders.
4. Full life cycle procurement - end to end supply chain management.
5. Receiving goods and services in SAP for parts & consumables.
6. Raise purchase orders and RFQs with suppliers for completion of customer sales orders.
