Your Role

As a Senior Arboriculture Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role advising clients on BS5837 consultancy and arboriculture planning. From residential and commercial developments to renewable energy and infrastructure projects, your expertise will guide critical decisions shaping the built and natural environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Leading fieldwork and assessments, including Arboriculture Impact Assessments, Method Statements, TPO works, and site promotion projects.
2. Collaborating with clients and project teams to ensure your advice informs decision-making at every stage.
3. Navigating arboriculture planning policies and engaging with key stakeholders during project discussions.

You’ll also have the opportunity to use your AutoCAD experience and deepen your understanding of the UK planning system, all while developing your skills within a supportive, team-driven culture.

About You

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced consultant who:

1. Has strong BS5837 consultancy skills and an academic qualification in arboriculture or a similar discipline.
2. Holds technical (or higher) membership with the Arboricultural Association.
3. Understands the technical aspects of arboriculture within the UK planning framework.
4. Enjoys building relationships with clients and thrives in a collaborative, proactive environment.
