Job Role: Electrician
Location: HMP Belmarsh SE28
Salary: £41,818.21 with an additional £3,000 in allowances per annum
Additional 5% basic salary in recognition of shift and weekend working.
Contract: Full Time / Perm

We are seeking a dedicated Electrician to join our team at HMP Belmarsh, a category A male prison. Join a team that is more than just a group of colleagues - we work Monday to Friday, and your role will involve ensuring the electrical systems are maintained and operational.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
2. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
3. Respond to electrical emergencies and troubleshoot issues.
4. Maintain accurate records of work performed.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Relevant electrical qualifications.
2. Experience in a similar role.
3. Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards.
