Role Description

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Client Account Manager with a strong foundation in bookkeeping to join our remote team. While our team of bookkeepers handles the day-to-day work, your role will be to oversee client accounts, manage relationships, and ensure everything is running smoothly from start to finish.

This role is perfect for someone who understands bookkeeping inside and out but thrives on client interaction, communication, and coordination. You’ll serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, liaising between them and our internal bookkeeping team to ensure expectations are met and financial processes are efficient and seamless. Responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for your assigned client accounts.
  • Coordinate with internal bookkeepers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
  • Review bookkeeping outputs to ensure they meet internal standards before they’re shared with clients.
  • Communicate financial insights and updates to clients in a clear, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Monitor account performance and flag any issues or concerns proactively.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients and understanding their specific bookkeeping needs.
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by building strong, trusted relationships.
  • Collaborate with our team to continually improve processes and client experience.

Qualifications

  • Excellent client relationship management skills and experience in account management.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping and financial analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver timely and accurate financial reports.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
