The Role

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 aerospace supplier.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in improving manufacturing processes, reducing waste, and ensuring the highest quality standards in aerospace component production.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and optimise manufacturing processes for aerospace components
2. Drive continuous improvement initiatives (lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
3. Work closely with design and production teams to enhance efficiency
4. Implement and improve CNC machining, assembly, and automation processes
5. Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards (AS9100, NADCAP)

What We’re Looking For:

1. Degree or HNC/HND in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace)
2. 3+ years’ experience in aerospace manufacturing
3. Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX)
4. Experience with lean manufacturing & process improvement
5. Familiarity with composite materials, precision machining, or metal forming (desirable)
