Retail Area Manager

Salary: £32,500 - £34,000 + £290 per month car allowance

Location: Region 3 (Greater London & East Anglia)

Retail and Asset Solutions are looking for a Retail Area Manager to join our Retail Stocktaking team on a full-time permanent basis. As an Area Manager, you will provide focus, support, and leadership to a designated geographically defined field management team to ensure the service and quality expectations of our customers are met.

Job Specifics - Retail Area Manager

You Will Be Required To:

1. Drive productivity & efficiency into all areas of the operation.
2. Develop and motivate effective count management teams that will deliver an efficient and quality service to the customer.
3. Maximise the profitability of the operation, whilst achieving and promoting employee development.
4. Support retail stock counts within the field when necessary. Travel and overnight stays will be required on occasion.
5. Liaise with both Regional Business Managers and the Scheduling & Deployment department to identify any requirement shortfall.
6. Support other regions and business units when required.
7. Deliver the right number of colleagues within the region to meet the business requirements.
8. Recruit, train, and coach all Count Managers and Supervisors within the region.
9. Overseas travel may be required at times.
10. Work closely with customers.

Personal Specification:

1. Knowledge of retail and management roles.
2. Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
3. Excellent knowledge of service delivery.
4. The ability to present authoritatively to the senior management team, external bodies, customers, and authorities.
5. Looking for the next management role and progression.
