An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a skilled Financial Controller to join a growing Property Company. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the accounting and finance department.

Description

• Oversee all company accounting practices, including preparing budgets, financial statements and management accounts
• Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; confer with executive management on strategic planning
• Oversee Payroll function
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations and laws
• Supervise investment and cash management strategies
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls
• Improve and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems
• Hire, develop and manage the accounting and finance team.

Profile

A successful Financial Controller should have:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office suite
• Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management and general finance and budgeting
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
