About Our Client

Our client is a leading video production agency based in Cambridgeshire, specializing in film, animation, and 3D video content creation. They work with leading brands, SMEs across all industries, and creative agencies to deliver exceptional visual storytelling.

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Videographer/Editor to help shape the future of our client's film offering. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a creative storyteller who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and values creative freedom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee entire film production process from initial client meetings through final delivery
  • Manage pre-production, shooting, and post-production phases
  • Direct on-set activities, working with talent and crew
  • Create compelling treatments that effectively communicate creative vision
  • Conduct location scouting and oversee casting
  • Execute high-quality cinematography, including lighting and sound
  • Perform professional color grading and sound design
  • Ensure clear communication and coordination among team members
  • Maintain quality control across all deliverables
  • Collaborate with the creative team to deliver engaging content for various platforms
Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in commercial videography and editing
  • Proven track record of self-shooting and directing
  • Advanced expertise in cinematography, lighting, and sound
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software (Adobe CC, Final Cut Pro X)
  • Strong color grading abilities
  • Excellence in sound design
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities
  • Outstanding communication and team coordination skills
  • Strong portfolio and showreel demonstrating creative flair
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Location & Travel Requirements
  • Full-time, studio-based position in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
  • Extensive travel throughout UK and occasional European travel
  • Must have own reliable vehicle
  • Comfortable with public transport when required
  • Travel expenses, mileage, and meal costs covered for shoots

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: £37,000 - £42,000 per year (based on experience)
  • Flexible working hours
