Forklift Driver wanted to drive a multidirectional / combilift truck. Multiple positions are available with our well-established client in Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottingham.

This company is well known locally, having operated in the area for over 40 years. What started as a small venture has rapidly grown into a well-known UK firm that focuses on building products. The Forklift Driver will be placed in a temp to permanent role with a view to going permanent after 13 weeks.

The Forklift Driver Role:

The Forklift Driver will be required to work Monday to Friday on a combilift truck (also known as a side loader). You will be required to load HGV vehicles with products to go to building sites across the UK. You will also use the multidirectional FLT to unload products coming in for storage. You must load/unload the HGV vehicles in a quick but safe manner, following HSE guidelines. You will be required to drive a counterbalance FLT truck; the variation will be a multidirectional / combilift truck.

Requirements for the Forklift Driver role:

The Forklift Driver will require:

1. Valid Forklift licence accredited (RTITB or ITSAR etc)
2. Experience working on a forklift in a busy environment
3. Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest
4. Flexibility to work Saturdays if needed (this is very rare)

Hours for the Forklift Driver:

The shift pattern will be Monday to Friday on Days.

Days: 07:30am till 16:45pm (15:30pm finish Friday).

The hourly rate for the Forklift Driver role is:

£12.50 - £13.00 Per hour Monday to Friday (PAYE)
