KS3/4 Music Specialist - ASAP / April 2025 start

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Music teacher for a truly outstanding school in Bury. You will be responsible for teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, and some Primary sessions too.

This timetable would be suitable for an ECT looking for support with their Induction terms, or a more experienced colleague looking for a long term supply booking.

Our school is easily accessible by road (M60, M61, M66), making this position ideal for colleagues based in Greater Manchester, Lancashire or even Merseyside. There are strong public transport links via local train and bus services. This school is immensely proud of its reputation in the education community.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Minimum rate of pay: GBP163 per day to GBP223 per day
  • Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Music or Performance Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
