M365 Software Developer

My leading public sector client is seeking an experienced M365 Software Developer.

The Role:

• Lead on working with various stakeholders to analyse business requirements, design a solution, build and deploy (including change and release processes, testing and user guidance) SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform business services.
• Lead and manage a small cross-site team of 2 Support Analysts responsible for resolving SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform technical issues.
• Maintain existing SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform solutions, implement strong supporting governance, and ensure prompt response to problem resolution.
• Evaluate existing systems, solutions, and processes and provide ideas for improvements.
• Author and execute PowerShell scripts that automate routine administrative tasks.
• Help mentor and coach members of the team.

Candidates must have the following skills/experience:

• Experience using PowerFX programming language to create complex functions in Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Knowledge and experience of application development (minimum 1 year commercial experience).
• Experience in working with M365 (Admin Centre, Teams, Delve, and Search).
• Knowledge and experience of scripting using PowerShell.
• Excellent communication skills with system users and vendors to identify, explain, and resolve complex problems.
• Passion to keep up to date with developments in SharePoint Online and Power Platform.
