An established healthcare provider is offering a permanent position in the Endoscopy Decontamination Unit. This role involves the decontamination and handling of reusable endoscopes, ensuring adherence to manufacturer instructions. No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided. The shift pattern for this position is 8am - 4pm & 10am – 6pm Monday – Friday.
An opportunity has arisen to work within the Endoscopy Decontamination Unit, Inverclyde Royal Hospital, Clyde Sector, Greenock. The core activity of the Endoscopy Decontamination Unit is the decontamination, assembly, packaging and distribution of reusable endoscopes, in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Currently, we have 1 post available in the unit, on a permanent contract. No experience is required as full training will be provided. However, a good general education including literacy and numeracy skills, together with good manual dexterity, are desirable.
