Are you a Band 6 Physiotherapist looking for a rewarding locum role in London? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

Job Details:

Job Title: Band 6 Physiotherapist

Location: Brighton and Hove - Inpatient A&E

Duration: Ongoing contract

Schedule: Full-time (part-time considered)

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: Ongoing

Rate of Pay: £24-£26 per hour (depending on experience)

What You'll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Band 6 Physiotherapist and play a key role in improving the lives of acute inpatients in A&E. In this role, you will:

  1. Perform comprehensive patient assessments for individuals presenting with a variety of acute conditions.
  2. Create and implement individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans to support patient recovery and early discharge.
  3. Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions including mobility assessments, respiratory care, and discharge planning.
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists to provide holistic patient care.
  5. Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to service development within the department.
Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A current and valid HCPC registration.
  2. Experience working in acute inpatient settings, preferably within A&E or medical assessment units.
  3. Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  4. The ability to work independently and within a fast-paced multidisciplinary team.
  5. A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position, requiring availability from Monday to Friday (weekend shifts available if preferred). The contract is ongoing, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
