ROLE OVERVIEW:
The opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, driven, and strategically minded Senior Project Manager to join the Reddoor Live team, leading the planning, management and execution of projects across our diverse international events portfolio. The desired candidate will report into the Global Operations Director, can be based remotely with extensive international travel. This is a broad operational role working on multiple Reddoor Live projects and to tight deadlines.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the end-to-end planning and execution of events, including scheduling, budgeting, event design, procurement, and logistics.
- Collaborate with business development and Global Operations Director on developing event strategies that align with client objectives and broader company goals.
- Create detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets, maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring the successful delivery of each event.
- Conduct research to identify suitable venues, vendors, and resources, ensuring the best options are available to meet client needs.
- Prepare event proposals and client-facing presentations, ensuring all aspects are tailored to the client’s vision.
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance event experiences and exceed client expectations.
Leadership & Coordination
- Lead the allocated project team.
- Serve as the main point of contact for external stakeholders and clients.
- Lead regular project management progress meetings with the project team.
- Work closely with internal departments (design, production, finance etc.) to ensure seamless execution of event plans.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members, providing guidance and monitoring progress to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to secure services, manage deliverables, and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Support on-site event operations, overseeing setup, live event management, and post-event dismantling.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting teamwork and the sharing of best practices.
Monitoring & Evaluation
- Continuous management and monitoring of project budget and time spent by project team vs allocated resources.
- Prepare regular progress reports for Senior Management and clients.
- Lead post-event evaluations, gathering client and team feedback to inform future improvements.
- Oversee the reconciliation of event budgets, handling all financial aspects including supplier invoicing and client payments.
- Analyze event performance data to provide insights and recommendations for future events.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout all phases of the event management process.
Pitch Work
- Lead the design and budgeting process for client pitch work, ensuring proposals align with client briefs and financial constraints.
- Collaborate with designers to develop compelling and visually cohesive pitch documents that meet both creative and financial objectives.
- Present proposals to clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and alignment with the client’s vision.
Essential attributes:
- Immediate right to work in UK.
- Experience managing external client and stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 years experience in similar project management role.
- Experience managing project teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience working on sport and/or entertainment events.
- Experience leading event teams on site (at live events).
- Experience working with 2D and 3D designers.
