Your new role

The client is seeking an experienced Senior BI Developer to join their Data and Reporting teams. This role involves designing and building a new solution using Snowflake. The ideal candidate will bring a high level of expertise to complement their existing team throughout the duration of the project.

1. Utilise SQL (MS SQL Server, Snowflake) for data preparation.
2. Design and model end-to-end data solutions.
3. Conduct unit testing and user acceptance testing with stakeholders, including remediation.
4. Maintain thorough documentation and manage code effectively.
5. Investigate existing data/reporting solutions as needed.
6. Communicate effectively to understand business rules and requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

1. Proficiency in Snowflake and MS SQL.
2. Strong skills in designing, data modelling, and building comprehensive data solutions.
3. Experience and knowledge with Power BI.
4. Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
5. Ability to conduct investigations and understand complex business requirements.
6. Effective communicator, capable of collaborating with project teams and seeking input from SMEs across the business.

What you'll get in return

A contract lasting for an initial period of six months with the potential for extension. The role is paying up to £550 per day and is outside IR35. The role is based in Bedfordshire with hybrid working on offer.
